The eastersee regatta is famous for it's location and hospitality

On the 25th and 26th of August 2018 the fifth edition of the 'Eastersee Regatta' will be held on the Tjeukemeer in the north part of the Netherlands. After the succes of the 2017 edition with 48 competitors from France, Great Brittain, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg and Germany, we hope to see 50+ competitors at his years weekend regatta which will again include world ranking points. The 'Eastersee Regatta' (pronounced in english as 'yestersay regatta') is named after the frisian name for the small and enthousiatic hosting town of 'Oosterzee'. With it's 20 square kilometres, lake Tjeukemeer has perfect conditions for sailing and enjoying nature and breeze. This 2018 edition will, like the last two year, be the official Dutch Championship so again there's everything to race for !

camping, BBQ and breakfast

Oosterzee is a small town with a campsite where participants and family/friends can camp for free during the event. The dinghies can be parked near your tent, motorhome or car from where you can easily get them in and out of the water. On saturday evening a nice BBQ will be organised so everybody can talk, drink, eat and have fun. The BBQ is free for participants and 10 euro for family and friends. On saturday and sunday morning we will start with a breakfast (free for participants / 2,50 a day for family and friends) with special 'frisian sugar bread' in order to be well prepared for racing.

entrance fee

The starting fee for the entire event will be 50 euro (55 euro for late entries), including 'free' camping and a BBQ on saturday evening. We are looking for a beer sponsor like previous years. Non participants can join the BBQ for 10 euro a person.
